To train volunteers to disseminate correct information about HIV/AIDS in their communities, the foundation started a peer educator program. These peer educators now act as reliable sources, dispelling falsehoods and promoting testing and therapy.

HIV testing campaign in the community

  HIV Testing Campaign in the Community Recently, the KnowBetter Foundation organized a free HIV testing drive in Makhado in collaboration with nearby clinics. Hundreds of community members who attended received confidential testing and counseling services. The program encouraged people to take charge of their health and helped lessen stigma.
