EDUCATING PEERS ABOUT HIV

 Educating Peers To train volunteers to disseminate correct information about HIV/AIDS in their communities, the foundation started a peer educator program. These peer educators now act as reliable sources, dispelling falsehoods and promoting testing and therapy. CANDLELIGHT REMEMBRANCE VIGIL

The Foundation held a candlelight vigil in remembrance of those who have died from HIV/AIDS. Families, friends, and supporters came together to contemplate, exchange tales, and bolster their resolve to eradicate stigma. The incident brought attention to the epidemic's human side as well as the impacted communities' tenacity, highlighting their ongoing struggles and the importance of continued advocacy for better healthcare and support systems. WORKSHOP ON YOUTH AWARENESS

  Workshop on Youth Awareness The Foundation held an interactive workshop at a nearby high school because it understood how important it was to reach young people. Students gained knowledge of safe practices, prevention, and the significance of dispelling HIV/AIDS myths. Youth were given the tools they needed to become awareness-raising ambassadors in their communities. HIV testing campaign in the community

  HIV Testing Campaign in the Community Recently, the KnowBetter Foundation organized a free HIV testing drive in Makhado in collaboration with nearby clinics. Hundreds of community members who attended received confidential testing and counseling services. The program encouraged people to take charge of their health and helped lessen stigma.
